Jade is almost 2!! And I haven't started her blog yet. I have so many stories I need to catch up on.

Timeline stuff: Kidsland from age 5 months to October 2014. Now she is with her Gina!
Jade started walking at 11months and subsequently figured out how to climb the ladder to the top bunk of Jasper's beds soon thereafter. Jade is a monkey. She climbs on everything possible. She loves to say "I did it" after completing such said feats while shaking one fist in accomplishment. Jade refused to eat solids until well after her 1st birthday leading to a few sessions with an occupational therapist. She had a gluteal abscess where she required hospitalization in March of 2014. Poor baby had her first surgery so early and 2 weeks of antibiotics requiring a night waking to give it to her. The babe only took the boob for the first 5-6 months and then I pumped after that. She loves loves loves the bottle. We JUST got her off of formula September of 2014 because she's "a big girl now." It was tough but she got over it in about 2 weeks with just some whining. Jade is one tough cookie. Starting from very early she seems to just understand what you are saying. She understands instruction like "go get your shoes on" from when she was teeny tiny. She knows when you are talking about her. She can sense stuff. She's just smart! And fiery. Fiery is actually an understatement. I need a whole post on how her fire comes out. But now I'm going to bed. I'm going to catch up on this here blog. I am, I am.

Finally Mama!

Jade finally said Mama this weekend. Her words to date include: hot, Jasper, Dada, uh oh, and while repeating: Heme for the pit bull next door, shoes, socks.
